ENGINEER
We are an expanding engineering firm with an excellent growth record. We are seeking experienced mechanical or chemical engineers and designers for our current and future projects. Experience in design, applications, analysis, plant engineering or facilities engineering a plus. Our focus is on industrial and process plant projects involving:
- Mechanical engineering for air separation plants
- Project engineering for chemical plants
- Electrical engineering for industrial projects
- Chemical engineering for process plants
- Design new installations and replacements of; pumps, chillers, natural gas regeneration heaters and heat exchangers. Replacing and/or upgrading plant equipment
- Packaging engineering
- Steam and gas turbine systems
- Compressors and ancillary equipment
- Large motor and generator packages
- Modifications to cryogenic backup systems and equipment
- Upgrading compressors to improve aerodynamic performance
- Instrumentation/control system design
- System integration – PLC/DCS programming
- Skid design – equipment packaging
- Familiarity with API 618, API 617, API 614, API 612 or API 611 helpful
- P&ID development
- Large reciprocating equipment
- Large rotating equipment
- ASME Code pressure vessels
- Piping design and stress analysis
- Vaporizers, pumps, compressors
- Vacuum adsorption systems – PSA’s
- CNG or cryogenic equipment
- Software; Caesar II, LabVIEW, Wonderware, Intellution, ANSYS, Mechanica, Unigraphics, PROENGINEER, Visual Basic, Aspen, QMC Dyflow, Mechanical Desktop, REBIS, PLC’s & MMI’s or any similar software.
Experience with projects at Air Products and Chemicals, Occidental Chemical, and Olin or any similar company desirable, but not mandatory. Full time and part time opportunities.
